Why the name Abeo?
Abeo is Latin for “I am transformed”. There is a testimony behind the name.
According to Eric, “Reading my personal behavioral profile for the first time I saw some things about myself that I did not particularly care for.
My profile stated that some people might see me as ‘arrogant, aggressive and overbearing’. I never thought of myself that way, I always saw myself as confident and assertive, you know, a winner.
Reading my profile was an epiphany for me. It changed my life. In story terms reading my behavioral profile helped me discover how my Critical Flaw impacted my Unique Ability.
I realized that my self-perception was not what mattered, it was other people’s perception of me that ultimately affected my effectiveness.
Thus began a personal discovery process of learning and growth to fully understand and account for my unique behavioral style, and later, my personal motivations.
Through a series of events this lead to the creation of Abeo, a software platform for people and organizations to learn and grow by developing awareness and understanding of their unique social style and motivators and how to adapt their approach with others for improved effectiveness.”
